Workshops
All courses are held in our workshop below the shop, with six sewing machines, tables, cutting boards and ironing boards. Kitchen and bathroom facilities also.
Fabric and patterns are not included in workshop price unless specified. Workshops won’t be refunded unless the entire class is cancelled.
Susan Smith Weekend Workshop
We are just over the moon to be hosting a Susan Smith workshop again. Susan has been very busy since her last visit working on Lady Hester and Butterfly Ball BOM and we can’t wait to see them in the flesh. This course runs over two days, the 2nd July 11am-4pm and the 3rd July 12am-4pm making it the perfect weekend break to delve into your passion for quilting.
Included in the price of this ticket is the pattern to Lady Hester, and the popular Butterfly Ball BOM pattern will be available to purchase from Susan and so you have choice of which quilt you would like to work on over the weekend. Susan also has a couple of surprise brand-new projects which are available to enjoy at the workshop.
Pincushion opens at 10am for student so you can meet in the shop anytime after this time and walk together over to the location of the workshop. Everyone on the course is is allocated a 20% off fabric discount on the day of the workshop, so Pincushion will be open in the morning before the course if you need to pick up any bits before the quilting begins. Susan will be there to guide you with all your fabric and colour choices. Fabric starter kits will also be available at the shop which are made by Pincushion with Susan’s favourite fabrics.
Lunch and cake will be included on both days. If you have any dietary requirements please contact us ahead of time.
